A game of cooperation and survival

Rainforest Rumble is set in the Amazon rainforest, where players try to grow and thrive as Brazil Nut Trees. There are 3 levels of difficulty, with the strangler fig coming more into play as the level of difficulty goes up.
Built with sustainable materials, a nice feature of this game is that players get to actually build their own 3D Brazil Nut Tree and see firsthand how challenging it is to not only survive but thrive as a tree in the rainforest.
Players are both competing as well as collaborating with each other, having an opportunity to donate or trade resources once they have collected enough mycelia cards. In nature, mycelia are fungi growing in plant root systems that help trees share resources with each other.
There are three growth phases with 4 rounds per phase: 1) young tree growing branches; 2) flowering and pollination; 3) fruiting and seed propagation.
During their turn players may draw growth cards that help their trees grow in some way.
Players may also draw challenge cards and come across any number of environmental and human dangers the trees would face, including a possible attack by a strangler fig epiphyte in the game’s more difficult levels.
The Brazil Nut Tree with the most branches and propagated seeds at the end of Growth Phase 3 wins, but beauty and kindness are also rewarded with extra points tallied at the end of the game. If certain criteria are met by all trees, the entire grove is deemed to be thriving!
Our hope is for Rainforest Rumble to be in science classrooms everywhere so that the next generation can be better equipped to steward our beautiful planet.

Customer testimonial:
“Such a creatively designed and fun-to-play game. I've never seen the unique combination of competition and collaboration so imaginatively realized, which unveils subtly as an honest reflection of how nature and life actually work. The younger crowd was fully immersed, and it was evident that they were absorbing all of the (plentiful) educational nuances. The personal touch behind the colorful design, the craftsmanship behind the materials and the engaging animated player guide all add to the experience. I heartily recommend a rumble in the rainforest for everyone."
